Innosuisse has supported the development of ERIDA through three instruments: innovation mentoring, approved on 30 September 2025; an innovation cheque for a preliminary study with the University of Bern, approved on 21 January 2026; and Initial Coaching. Mentoring and coaching are expert advice, not a cash grant.

On 21 January 2026, Innosuisse approved an innovation cheque for a preliminary study on ERIDA with the Institute of Sociology at the University of Bern.

From May to September 2026, we ran the closed pilot of ERIDA Lex, our Legal Information Assistant, together with the institute, which accompanied it with research on how participants use and experience the assistant. The pilot was part of a preliminary study supported by an Innosuisse innovation cheque.

In May 2026, ERIDA started a closed pilot of ERIDA Lex, its Legal Information Assistant, together with the University of Bern.

The association collaborates with Innosuisse (innovation funding), the University of Bern (research), and the Canton of Bern (strategic dialogue, Letter of Intent).
