3.1 Server Log Data (automatic)

When you visit our website, our hosting provider automatically collects certain technical information, including your IP address, the date and time of access, browser type, operating system and pages accessed.

Purpose: Operation and security of the website.

Legal basis: Legitimate interest (Art. 31 FADP / Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Retention period: 30 days.

3.2 Hosting

This website is hosted by OVH. The server is located in Germany.

The hosting provider processes technical server log data on our behalf. Please refer to the provider’s privacy policy for further information.

3.3 Fonts

This website uses locally hosted fonts only. No connection to external font providers is established when accessing this website.

3.4 Email Contact

When you contact us by email, we store your address and message in order to process your enquiry.

Legal basis: Legitimate interest / pre-contractual relationship.

Retention period: 2 years after completion of correspondence, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

3.5 Payment processing for donations

When you donate via our donation page, the payment is processed by RaiseNow AG (Zurich, Switzerland); card payments are handled by its payment provider Stripe. The data you enter — depending on the payment method, name, email address, postal address (for the donation receipt) and payment data — is transmitted to and processed by these providers.

Purpose: processing your donation, issuing the donation receipt, and fraud prevention.

Legal basis: performance of a contract and legitimate interest (Art. 31 FADP / Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b and f GDPR).

This may involve a transfer of data abroad (including to the USA via Stripe); the providers rely on appropriate safeguards for this. For details, please refer to the privacy policies of RaiseNow and Stripe.

3.6 Newsletter subscription

When you subscribe to our newsletter, we process your email address together with the language of the form and the referral information of the visit (UTM parameters).

Subscription uses a double opt-in procedure: you first receive an email containing a confirmation link, and the subscription only becomes active once you confirm. To evidence consent, we log the time of the signup, the time of the confirmation, the version of the consent wording, the language of the form and the IP address.

Purpose: sending the newsletter and evidencing the consent given.

Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and the legitimate interest in being able to evidence that consent.

Dispatch is handled by the service provider Sender.net, which processes the data on our behalf. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the unsubscribe link in every issue or by email to info@innosocial.ch; the record of consent is then retained only for as long as needed to defend against claims.
